BOCHUM – At this year’s International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA), which opens its doors in Hanover from 17 to 19 October, the focus will be on new scientific discoveries in the field of hearing acoustics and on the further technical development of hearing aids and 3D scanners. Topics such as quality and digitization are moving closer to the user’s focus. With 20 years of experience in digitization, smart optics focuses on speed. The duo Scan Touch is the further development of the well-known and popular duo Scan. The 3D scanner for digitizing auditory canal impressions is specially designed for high-throughput while maintaining the same level of quality and performance. duo Scan Touch effortlessly and reliably masters any demanding job. With an integrated touch screen and the new user software aural Scan, every step is even easier and faster.
New user software aural Scan increases performance
The user-friendly, well-structured and intuitive software aural Scan is a novelty and recently available for all smart optics audiology scanners on the market. Features such as the “barcode scan” and “direct scan” as well as its hotkey support or the display of user instructions meet the growing requirements and the closely timed daily work routine of the users. Thanks to the close contact with many customers, smart optics was able to take many of the wishes of the industry into account.
New Prototype free Stage exhibited
The free Stage is the new, open audiology scanner from smart optics. The open housing allows quick handling when changing auditory canal impressions and is nevertheless protected by the side panel against disturbing light irradiation. The modern design and the innovative touch sensor make the free Stage not only highly functional but also an eye-catcher in any modern acoustics shop. The new 3D calibration serves to maintain and prove accuracy and meets the increasing demands on quality management.
